Cathy has lovingly served the children and parents of VMC since 1996. She has worked with Pastors Holmen and Teixeira to implement a children's program, which incorporates the ideals of the "Faith at Home" movement. This includes Take It Home Events for parents and children of all ages.  "KidZone" began under her direction. It includes upbeat music led by worship teams, Bible stories told by drama teams and puppet shows, and small groups where children build relationships and apply what they have learned.

Cathy has three grown children of her own.
