Project Understanding:
Project Understanding is a wonderful ministry to those in need (website at left). VMC collects various food items each month and delivers them to Project Understanding. Watch your church bulletin for the item featured each month. Volunteers with a van or SUV are needed to deliver bread to Project Understanding. Volunteers pick up bread at Vons on Thompson Boulevard at 7:00 a.m. on Thursdays and/or Saturdays to collect the bread and then drive it to Project Understanding. Even if you cannot be available every Thursday or Saturday, you can still help by volunteering to drive on specific days each month. For more information, call Randy Ringen, Pantry Coordinator at Project Understanding, at (805) 652-1326.
